COOKIES POLICY

1. General information

Following the entry into force of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 adopted by the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union - the GDPR Regulation, the rules set out in the legislative framework apply to all online services for which users are in Europe. Thus, websites are required to notify users and visitors about the use of cookies, as well as to have a policy on their particular application.

This policy is to provide information about the "cookie" files that the websites operated by ZONTAP LLC or other companies associated or collaborating with it and which identify the economic agent (hereinafter referred to as "STARTSERA") place, use and manage, and the purposes for which they are used.

The document complements the Privacy Policy as well as the Terms and Conditions of the website.

STARTSERA encourages all visitors or users of the site to read this policy to understand what cookies are, what types of cookies STARTSERA uses, and to be aware that there is a possibility to give consent to the use of cookies, as well as the possibility to revoke it by changing the settings of the browser used, settings that allow you to choose to accept or refuse certain cookies.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files made up of letters and numbers that contain a small amount of information and uniquely identify the browser or device. Cookies are stored and saved by a website, when accessed, on the browser used by the visitor and/or on the hard drive of the equipment used (computer or mobile device), which is an Internet-enabled terminal.

Cookies are installed by a request issued by a web server to an internet browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, etc.) and are completely "passive" in the sense that they do not contain software, viruses, or spyware and do not have the ability to access the information on the user's hard drive.

Cookies are created and interpreted by the sender (website or web application) and the recipient (the device used to access the Internet) simply stores the cookies and possibly sends them back to the sender if the sender requests them for user identification.

Cookies, by themselves, do not require personal information in order to be used and, in most cases, are not capable of personally identifying Internet users. Personal data that is collected through the cookies used may be collected only for the purpose of facilitating certain functionalities for visitors or users of the site. The data thus collected is encrypted so that access by unauthorized persons is not possible.

3. The cookies used by STARTSERA

The www.Startsera.com website currently uses three types of cookies, as described below. STARTSERA mainly uses primary (original) cookies, i.e. cookies that can only be read by the website in question and not cookies placed by third parties. However, for certain situations, STARTSERA also uses cookies placed by third parties, such as the cookies used by Google Analytics or when using social network plugins. Third-party cookies are cookies set by domains other than the site you are visiting.

Google Analytics cookies are classified as both primary cookies, as they are set by the domain of the site that uses them, and as third-party cookies, as Google collects and processes, in an anonymous way, information from a particular site's use of Google Analytics services.

Google Analytics is a program that analyzes Internet traffic and is provided by Google, Inc. The purpose of the cookies used by Google Analytics is to help websites analyze how they are used. In accordance with its Privacy Shield certification, Google states that it complies with the EU-US Privacy Shield framework.

If you would like to learn more about how Google uses information received from sites, please visit their page https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites?hl=ro/. Also, to opt out of being tracked by Google Analytics, on all websites you use, please visit the Google Opt Out page https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Depending on their purpose, cookies can be divided into several categories, such as necessary cookies, preference cookies, analytics or statistics cookies, and marketing cookies. We will present below the cookies used by www.STARTSERA.com.

Necessary cookies: STARTSERA uses two necessary cookies, namely:

· Cookie named "user", which stores the role of a logged-in user, usually either a user or the site administrator;

· Cookie, named v", which is required to allow verification of the user ID in the Systeme account.

Necessary cookies are those cookies that ensure the proper functioning of the site by enabling basic functions such as page navigation and access to certain areas of the site, without which the site would not be able to present the content in the form it was intended for or deliver the services it provides.

Strictly necessary cookies must be permanently enabled otherwise, preferences for chosen settings cannot be saved and the website cannot function correctly.

Statistical cookies: STARTSERA uses a statistical cookie, namely:

· "HTTP" cookie with the name "_ga", which is used by Google Analytics to distinguish unique users by assigning a randomly generated number as a client identifier and is intended to generate statistical data about how the visitor uses the website;

Statistical cookies help website owners, by collecting and reporting information anonymously, to understand how visitors interact with the websites they visit. This in turn enables improvements to be made to the way the site works.

Marketing cookies: STARTSERA uses two marketing cookies, namely:

· "HTTP" cookie with the name "_fbp", which is used by Facebook to deliver a range of advertising products, such as real-time bidding from third-party advertisers and to distinguish and track unique users;

· "Pixel" cookie with the name "tr", which is used by Facebook to deliver a range of advertising products, such as real-time bidding from third-party advertisers, and to track and monitor the success of ads.

Marketing cookies are used to track visitors to websites, with the intent and purpose of displaying relevant and engaging ads to the individual user, thus making them more valuable to publishers and third-party advertisers.

4. Benefits of using cookies

Cookies are central to the efficient functioning of the Internet, as they help provide a user-friendly browsing experience tailored to each user's preferences and interests.

The purposes of cookies are diverse, depending on the types of cookies that are used. In the main, however, the purpose is to identify a user, to check their previous activity on the site, and to provide specific content based on this data.

Some cookies are necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the website, so they cannot be disabled either. These are generally referred to as mandatory or necessary cookies. Other cookies may be used for site analytics, visitor counting, and other such information and are generally referred to as analytical cookies.

The broad category of cookies includes other similar technologies such as:

1. web beacons, which are small GIF image files used to collect information about site usage or

2. Facebook pixels, which are small pieces of software that are almost invisible pixel-sized "dots" that create a link between your visit to the site and Facebook, so that when the pixel is loaded, the cookie placed by Facebook helps to deliver more personalized ads and to measure and improve them.

You can read more about Facebook cookies at https://www.facebook.com/policies/cookies/.

Cookies ensure an enjoyable user experience on websites by displaying content appropriately. In certain situations, if a browser revisits the website, through the cookies placed, it can read the information already stored and act accordingly to optimize the user's session.

5. Cookies lifespan

Cookies can be classified according to their lifespan into two broad categories as follows:

1. Session cookies which are stored temporarily by the browser, by storing them until the user leaves the website or closes the browser window, at which point the stored information is deleted;

2. Persistent cookies are stored on the hard disk of the equipment used (computer or mobile device) and have a predetermined lifetime, which varies depending on the option chosen by the sender. This category also includes cookies placed by third parties, called third-party cookies, which can be used by them, anonymously, to remember a user's interests with a view to displaying relevant advertising content according to their preferences.

It is important to note that although persistent cookies last longer, they can also be deleted at any time, in their entirety, from any equipment used, by accessing the settings of the browser used, in the cookies section. If they are not deleted by the user, they will be deleted automatically when the expiry period set for them is reached.

The cookies used by www.Startsera.com have the following lifetimes:

· the required "user" cookie - one session;

· v" required cookie - 10 years

· statistical cookie "_ga" - two years;

· marketing cookie "_fbp" - three months;

· marketing cookie "tr" - one session.

6. Ways of controlling cookies

· Any visitor or user has the ability to control and/or delete cookies according to their own preferences. Web browsers include multiple settings for cookie management and there are even some browser extensions that have the ability to block cookies. At the same time, users have the possibility to permanently delete stored cookies.

· Most browsers allow users to do the following: see which cookies exist and choose to delete them individually, block certain third-party cookies, block cookies from certain sites, or choose to delete all cookies when the browser is closed.

· It is important to note, however, that deleting or blocking certain cookies may result in various features, services, or options of the site no longer working as designed and users may not be able to enjoy a pleasant session on the website.

7. Online Security

Cookies are not viruses and are not made up of code formulas, so they cannot be executed and cannot be auto-run. Cookies cannot be duplicated or replicated on other networks. However, it is important to note that some sites may also use cookies for negative purposes.

Users and visitors to the site understand, acknowledge and accept that www.Startsera.com does not offer any guarantees, suggestions, or conditions and cannot control the security and/or content of external information that may be received from the user via the Internet for the purpose of accessing the site. Users also understand that the www.Startsera.com website is available via the Internet, which is not under ZONTAP LLC's control.

ZONTAP LLC strives to ensure data security, but cannot guarantee that all information that the user receives or sends as a result of using the Internet will always be secure. As such, www.Startsera.com recommends constantly checking the security policies of the browsers used to access websites and the equipment used for this purpose, including installing anti-virus software to protect against any type of external attacks, such as cracking or hacking.
